Aweng Peter Majok Garang Aweng Garang is a researcher at the SOAS Center for Global Finance under the AXA Chair. His research focuses on how financial systems in developing economies can be made more inclusive and supportive of sustainable development by integrating new financial technologies like CBDCs.
Professor David Fisk David Fisk is holder of the Laing O’Rourke Chair in Systems Engineering and Innovation at Imperial College. He previously held the Royal Academy of Engineering Chair at Imperial College London in Engineering for Sustainable Development. At Imperial he is Director of the Laing O’Rourke Centre for Systems Engineering and Innovation and is a co-director of the BP Urban Energy Systems Program. He is a Past President of the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers and serves as a Non-Executive Member of the Gas and Electricity Markets Authority.
Ms Sharowat Shamin Sharowat Shamin teaches law at the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. She did her LLM in International Environmental and Energy Law from the University of Oslo, Norway with fully-funded Norwegian Government Quota Scheme Scholarship. Earlier she completed another LLM in International and Comparative Law and LLB (Honours) from the University of Dhaka. Her research interest lies in the fields of climate change and energy law, human rights, and constitutional law and she published several papers on these topics.
