Course overview
The PGCert Global Histories explores how the modern world has been shaped, experienced, and interpreted from diverse local and global perspectives.
Designed for distance learners, it fosters a vibrant international community and critical engagement with Eurocentric narratives. The programme examines the forces behind today’s global landscape, key methods and debates in historical analysis, and long-term human-environment dynamics.
With research-methods training and closely supervised teaching, you will develop advanced analytical, research, and communication skills to apply global-historical thinking across academic, professional, and public contexts.
