Conference: Building Just Climate Strategies

On 17–18 July 2023, Worldmaking Beyond SOAS is convening stakeholders to build transnational strategies around climate justice. 

The interaction between climactic breakdown and structural inequalities disproportionately impacts vulnerable communities worldwide. Given the pressing nature of the climate crisis and its intersection with racial capitalism, it is crucial that we explore solutions that will ensure justice for all. 

Join us for the "Building Justice-Based Climate Strategies" conference on 17–18 July 2023, where we will convene stakeholders from local and transnational organisations, academics, students, and activists to develop relationships and strategies around climate justice.

A space for collective radical imagination on climate justice and liberation, it will serve as a launchpad for the projects incubated by the Worldmaking Initiative, and will be an opportunity to engage with these. Building Justice-Based Climate Strategies will serve as a space for dialogue, collaboration, and the development of strategies around climate justice.

Above all, we aim to create a space of collective and radical imagination, envisioning what climate justice truly means and looks like. We invite you to join us and contribute your unique perspective and expertise to this important conversation.
