Centre of South East Asian Studies

The Centre of South East Asian Studies (CSEAS) exists to stimulate a lively research culture concerned with South East Asian issues.

Our seminars and events promote interdisciplinary study, research and discussion, and disseminate a wider awareness of the region.

The Centre acts as a forum for the University of London as a whole, and for South East Asianists in the universities of southern Britain. We work closely with ASEASUK and EUROSEAS, have special relations with universities in South East Asia, and are a member of the European Alliance of Asian Studies.

Meet the members.
