Join us for our information session for the SOAS-KU Dual Masters Degree Programme!

Commencing with the 2021/22 academic year, SOAS has offered the SOAS-KU Dual Masters Degree Programme in collaboration between the Graduate School of International Studies (GSIS) at Korea University (KU) and the School of Finance and Management at SOAS.

SOAS-KU Dual Masters Degree has established a unique postgraduate pathway in the fields of international studies, international business, and public policy and management, providing graduates with two Masters degrees through study at each of SOAS and KU.

The information session will provide an overview of the SOAS-KU Dual Masters Degree Programme, eligibility criteria and application process. Dedicated staff and current students from SOAS and KU will be available to answer any questions you may have, providing valuable insights into student life at SOAS and KU.

This is a virtual event and will take place on Zoom at 09:00 AM (UK Time) / 06:00 PM (Korean Time).

Japanese Artforms in “THE鍵KEY”: an Immersive Opera

Inspired by Junichiro Tanizaki's novella of the same name, "THE鍵KEY" (2018-2019) is a site-specific, immersive opera performed by an ensemble of singers, Japanese and Western instruments, and a dancer. This presentation shall provide insight into why the composer and director Francesca Le Lohé decided to incorporate particular Japanese instruments into the opera, and how working with these instruments and their performers shaped the creative process.
