Border Crossings examines how public narratives and memories of the 1947 partition are changing in Britain and how technology, specifically Virtual Reality (VR), can facilitate dialogue across generations and communities.

African Screen Worlds: Decolonising Film and Screen Studies’ (2019-2025) is an international, European Research Council-funded research project led by Professor Lindiwe Dovey that explores in particular Africans’ contemporary contributions to diverse, complex screen worlds.

This project produced state-of-the art editions of the core ritual texts of the Zoroastrian religion and an interactive film of a performance of the ritual.
