Module overview

This is a session on employability and career planning for undergraduate students. The sessions aims to introduce students to career planning strategies and resources available via the SOAS Careers Service. It is particularly aimed for Year 2 undergraduate students, but could be openned up to other undergraduate years. The delivery will be achieved through one 2-hour session prior to reading week of term 1.

Objectives and learning outcomes of the module

  1. Be familiar with career planning strategies.
  2. Be confident in navigating job search and application process.
  3. Be aware of resources available through the SOAS Careers Service.
