SOAS University of London

International Students

SOAS has a proud history of welcoming students from all over the world. SOAS is an exceptionally cosmopolitan and diverse place to study; 56% of the students at SOAS come from outside of the UK. SOAS is one of the top ten universities for the percentage of international students (QS World University Rankings 2013), welcoming the brightest minds from more than 133 different countries.

All students at SOAS have  the option to study a language alongside their degree and, for many programmes, the chance to spend a year abroad studying their chosen language intensively in a partner institution. (See individual programmes for details.) Many students also undertake a time abroad through the Erasmus scheme.

We also welcome international students at our Summer Schools and on Exchange programmes
