Gerardo Rivera

Gerardo is pursuing his MA in Environmental Law and Sustainable Development after graduating from the University of South Florida with a BA in Political Science and Criminology. He has previously worked within the Patel College of Global Sustainability (USF) as a Writer and Photographer during a conversation series on global security. During this time, Gerardo developed a strong interest in international security through environmental context as well the causes for environmentally based crimes. His interest in these fields is pushing Gerardo to study how environmental issues impact the security of states.
