Biography
Julia Brouillard is currently a third year PhD candidate in Economics at the School of African and Oriental Studies (SOAS) in London, as well as an Principal Economist at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
She conducts research on the impact of liberalization reforms on private sector development in the Middle East and Egypt, and more broadly macroeconomic and structural developments across the Mediterranean.
She is a graduate of Sciences Po Paris with a degree in economics and politics and a master’s in public policy. She has recently been at Associate at the Middle East Initiative at the Harvard Kennedy school, in Boston. Her recent publications focus on private sector development and digitalisation policies in Greece and Morocco.
