Vino Kanapathipillai is a Senior Teaching Fellow in the Centre for International Studies and Diplomacy. Her research interests concern the public-private divide, especially as it pertains to state-corporate relations. Her PhD research focused on the ways in which state-corporate relations are changing on the basis of security concerns. Vino convenes and teaches courses on Global Advocacy, Global Public Policy and Project Management. She holds an MSc in International Politics (Distinction) and a PhD in International Relations from SOAS, University of London. Before entering academic, Vino worked as a management consultant for over seven years, working on several projects for corporate and government clients in UK and Australia. She also managed a two-year UK government-funded policy research project, working with the Berghof Foundation.
