Biography
Dr Saral is a Marie-Sklodowska Curie Fellow, and will be working on a project on ‘Human Rights in Post-Uprisings Middle East: Emerging Discourses and Practices in Egypt and Tunisia’. The research project aims at interrogating the human rights discourses and practices in the MENA region undergoing transition through the course of the so-called Arab Spring by conducting a comparative analysis of two key countries — Egypt and Tunisia.
Research interests
Human Rights in the Post-Uprisings Middle East: Emerging Discourses and Practices in Egypt and Tunisia. This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Sklodowska-Curie grant agreement No 703223.
