SOAS Taiwan Studies Summer School 2024

The SOAS Centre of Taiwan Studies is excited to present a 3-day Summer School programme filled with engaging talks, seminars, and roundtables between 26–28 June 2024.

The CTS Summer School is free and open to the public. The registration portal will be open soon, in mid-May.

Student presentations

As part of the summer school, we have scheduled a student-focused research seminar open to all current undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral students (you do not have to be studying at SOAS).

The “Student Research Seminar in Taiwan Studies” offers you the opportunity to share your research, get feedback and gain valuable experience in presenting in an academic environment. If you are interested in taking part, please type your presentation title in the registration form and send your abstract (max 250 Words) via email to yc27@soas.ac.uk with the subject titled “CTSSS_Name_Student Presentation” by 11.59 pm on 10 June 2024. Those whose research topics are selected will be notified by email on 20 June 2024.

Please be aware that the topic of your submitted abstract is not limited, but it must be Taiwan-related.
