Call for Papers: The Palestinian Museum - 15 May 2020

8 April 2020

The Palestinian Museum is an independent institution dedicated to supporting an open and dynamic Palestinian culture nationally and internationally. The Museum presents and engages with new perspectives on Palestinian history, society and culture, while offering spaces for creative ventures, educational programmes and innovative research. Complementing its annual and seasonal exhibitions, the Museum develops and organizes a rich array of educational, research and public programmes in line with its vision and mission of producing and disseminating knowledge about Palestinian history and culture, bolstering links among Palestinians worldwide and amplifying Palestinian narratives in global cultural dialogue.

In fulfilment of its 2019-2023 programme strategy, the Palestinian Museum’s newly-launched Knowledge and Research programme is geared towards fostering civic engagement and reflexion, producing and disseminating knowledge about Palestine, and addressing knowledge gaps in Palestinian history and culture. It aims to achieve this through the development and organisation of local and international events, including exhibition-related conferences, symposia, panel discussions, literary events, workshops, film screenings, tours and two original publications to document the annual discursive and scholarly outputs, as well as conference proceedings and papers.

Accordingly, the Palestinian Museum is pleased to issue an open call for papers through the Museum’s strategic research programme:

The deadline for submitting applications is 15 May 2020.
