Biography

Dr Agnieszka Marciszewska is an educator and researcher in applied linguistics, specialising in bilingual and trilingual language processing. Her primary topic of interest is morphosyntactic processing among bilingual and trilingual children although she also does classroom-based pedagogic research in areas that include language aptitude and the use of feedback. Her research interests further include multilingual identity and multiculturalism. She completed B.A. in Applied Linguistics at University of Szczecin, Poland followed by M.A. in Bilingual Translation at University of Westminster, London and PGDip in English Linguistics at Nottingham University. Her Ph.D. in Psycholinguistics was completed at University of Greenwich under Dr Cecile Laval and Prof Sharwood-Smith. Agnieszka is a Senior Fellow with Higher Education Academy and is currently teaching on the Foundation Year programme at School of Oriental and African Studies.
